I predict it'll take about a day for Congress to pass a military spending bill that Bush will sign. They're just waiting for him to veto the 'Get the troops out of Iraq Bill.' They don't want any confusion over who wants the war to continue and who wants it to stop.

This has nothing to do with getting the war effort funded and everything to do with bolting it even more firmly to Bush and any Repubs who need to win an election in '08.
