it only got wose in the post debate interviews, She wouldn't answer the questions, told the reporters (in a very George W. Bush way...) that being governor was 'hard work' ...the reporters ended up booing her...

I saw that earlier today. There's also a clip of her running away from the reporters afterwards, too, but I'm too lazy to look for it.
I thought I heard her popularity was falling, too. I'd certainly understand it if it was.
The reason she ran from the reporters was that they continued to ask her why she had said that there were beheadings in the Arizona desert and why she kept harping on the rising crime rates when, in actuality, crime rates have decreased and there's never been even a single beheading. She pursed her lips and said, "Have a good day," and took off.
Sometimes you gotta 'fess up and face the music.

I detest her politics, but I can forgive a memory lapse. I don't have a need to see political candidates polished to a TV shine. Now, having significant reasoning lapses - that is unforgivable.
professionals are saying this can happen ... IDK.
But I drive a lot and I've driven past exits I need to take so on a different level I can see it. You give so many speeches and interviews and that auto pilot goes kaplop I guess. I don't know her politics much ... she looks like she's ready for the farm ... kind of burnt out I think. maybe NEM will take her in.
She has now recanted her "beheadings in the desert" comments.. it did make great press though...
Well, if saying, ""That was an error, if I said that," is a recant, then ok.
But it doesn't sound like much of one to me - and it certainly wouldn't be accepted as one if it was something Obama or Pelosi had said if they had repeatedly told an outright lie which was caught on tape, would it?
