They might not be, but they could be is what we're saying. I have no problems with credit, as I do use it, but cash being obsolete, or surcharged in in 2012 is no where near possible like that man tried to say. I like to use both, cahs and credit. Of course, most things go in this country, it's a matter of personal choice.

Very true. It would be far more difficult to side step a consumption tax if it were all electronic.

Not according to some disillusioned souls who think the rich are making out like bandits. I'd absolutely love a cosumption tax.

Yes, it'll be hard on the drug dealers (small time)... but there many more cons than pros.
I have no problems with a national ID, and honestly can't fathom why people do. Do you carry a license on you? Do you go out without identification provided to you by your state? What about a passport? Do you have one of those? What's the difference if you have a National ID, or at least an identification from your state that has minimal federal safety requirments in them? Especially since in most states a drivers license can be so easily obtained by people who do not qualify for one.

The only thing that I don't agree with, is the RFID chip in it. I don't like the idea of anyone who wants my information(good or evil intents) so readily accessible.

Ever heard of a thing called identity theft? This crime is going to be the most common crime in the future, hands down.

RFID is one of the best ways to have this happen...

Come on now, think...

I love the chip idea and would like it implanted in everyone at birth. Imagine trying to kidnap a kid then. Seriously it would make things SO much easier in so many ways.

this stuff is not just disturbing, it is part of scriptural prophesy.

dont be surprised when the day comes you are faced with the choice, take the chip, or be unable to purchase food.
What will you do?

Yep, it's not like this is a secret or anything... the book of Revelations pretty much sums it all up.
