If this confessed mass terrorist has been captured. why go after Bin Laden? and who are we fighting if this was the guy resposible for ALL of those terrorist attacks? I'm waiting on a debate, not a sweet jpg.

Not to speak for him but you are better than that to. You really think they've quit planning for more attacks just because he was captured and confessed? I have a bad feeling they're trying to come up with a doozie going into the election. They want to effect the outcome. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think they're that powerful. The fact that they couldn't muster anything here even in the days immediately after 9/11 shows that. If they want to affect the election, they would probably prefer a continuation of the current policy that has create a rallying cry for them and has helped them recruit, by some estimates, thousands of new members. After all, what better recruiting vehicle can Al Qaeda ask for than to have the infidels destroy a Shiite nation?
