We knew this, but why does it need to become a political issue? Watson is a good guy on a USO tour, it happens every year. Am I missing something??

Do you and all the right wingers have patterned responses to what you perceive as the truth?? I was 1-A in the summer of '68, had all types of physicals, never called. In January of 1969 my lottery number was 313 or something like that.

I think you're still stuck in Vietnam, Fog. Unlike in that war, this time around people understand the troops aren't to blame and contempt is reserved for those in political power

*I had a slight heart attack reading the title, I thought Watson had enlisted. War is war, but Kyle Brady and David Thomas aren't gonna get it done without Watson.

So you were old to know. What were they saying about Vietnam vets when they came home: "baby-killers", "war-mongers", etc.
