i don't have a problem with it... but it simply should be in the appropriately titled forum...

i mean, i know how many of you guys would like nothing more than to marry church and state in order to dictate domestic and foreign policy, but at least TRY to be subtle...

pffft. I dont care about that stuff as much as I care about eternity. Domestic and foreign policy comes and goes just like this life. Gone in a blink of an eye. Jesus didnt come to elect a political party. He was concerned about souls.

Abortion is kind of disgusting, but whether a Democrat or Republican gets elected wont mean a hill of beans when the Lord returns, you know.

I accept that Jesus actually existed, but beyond that it's all mythology. If God is the egomaniac you describe, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with. If there is a God, which I doubt, I like any good religious person expect that God will share my value system, my morals, and my politics.

As far as what forum a post like this belongs in, I think if you take out the mythology, religion is mostly the same as politics. If religious people want to post here, we should treat the topic politically.
