Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, a vocal opponent of the Iraq invasion and occupation, drops out of the race.....Cites something about politics being all about money or something. What does he mean by that?

I've seen this guy on a couple of the channels, and personally was not interested. He seems like a real partisan, and was way too scripted. Of course, everyone is partisan, but he came accross as someone who had a rehearsed speech.

Party hack. Couldn't take a dump without notes and instructions from headquarters.

I hate party hacks, no matter which party they're affiliated with. A cynic might say they are "system players..."

It means he has zero chance of raising the campaign funds that Obama and Clinton can. He's right.

I feel the same way. Candidates that are scripted tend to bug me. They can never speak in the context of having an actual converstion. They always sound like one of the strategests or campaign people. They never even remotely answer a question.

I can't think of many Politicians to whom this DOESN'T apply. That's the bit I hate the most; when I listen to Blair, I sometimes wonder if he is an actor and that the real Prime Minister is hidden away somewhere.
