Default Brazen attack on U.S. base

Escalation of violence.

The New York Times reports a “coordinated assault on an American combat outpost north of Baghdad.” Suicide bombers drove three cars laden with explosives into a U.S. base, killing two American soldiers and wounding at least 17 more.

The brazen attack, which was followed by fierce gun battles and a daring evacuation of the wounded by at least four American helicopters, came on a day of deadly violence across the country, including shootings suicide bombings, mortar attacks and roadside explosions. Civilians, Americans and the Iraqi security forces all were targets.

It wasn't mean to be funny, just the truth.

Is it Hillary and a terrorist? Say, FTW, what did you think of Reagan's support for the terrorists went he sent us hightailing out of Lebanon after 240 Marines were killed? Maybe it's Reagan who started the whole coddling the terrorist approach? What'd'ya think?

Isn't anyone concerned about the number of US servicemen killed in Iraq? Isn't anyone concerned about the increasing ease in which insurgents are shooting down US helicopters?

The attacks on US soliders in Iraq are becoming more frequent and more coordinated. We should all be concerned. I am sorry if I miss the humor.
