Shows that for those on the Left the distinction between an entertainer/commentator and a journalist is non existent.
Have you ever read any of Marx, Engels, Lenin or Mao?? Very revealing. Marx wrote very shortly after George Hegel, whose philosophy covered the entire spectrum of life, from ontology (where things come from, for Marx, it was "material" that precedes all else; like Darwin), to history, to education, to art, to science -- everything in life. Engels was basically Marx's gravy train, as Marx was penniless, but he added some of his own thoughts. Lenin adapted Marx and Engels to Russian culture, Mao to China.
Marx then applied that totally comprehensive approach into what may be called a "cultural ethos", and underlying belief that constantly guided the drive of all culture and society. Thus, anything, literally, was A-OK as long as it was for the original goal of total world revolution: destroy the corrupt bourgeois capitalistic culture and replace it with a socialistic culture. And, if force was needed to implement this revolution, then so be it. "By any means necessary, the ends justify the means" was the rallying cry.
So, it's easy to see what is behind so much of the "popular" media. As long as the bigs of those organs are living well, they will air, publish, and promote whatever their agenda dictates. "The ends justify the means."

I agree, I would also point to the assault on Christianity by the left over the past 60 years in this country.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Yes, Insight Magazine, the publication connected with the Unification Church, that keeps posting lies (such as Obama's education at a Madrassa school), is a good example of that.

Christianity and *all* religion has been under attack. Actually, belief in God is the target. Destroy God and there is only material. Under that concept, *anything* can happen because it's all "by chance", "random", "accidental". Chaos.

"Lies"??? Careful about your own nose, Patters.
Has Obama sued Insight?? I haven't heard much about that tempest in a couple of weeks.

Also the left hates the concept of natural law and the basis of our rights are that they are given by God (as stated in the Declaration of Independence). This mean that they can't be taken away by government. They prefer the situation where government gives people rights, rather than people giving government limited powers.

You don't need God to recognize that there are two choices: constructive and destructive. Freud understood that just as our own individual growth embodies constructive forces, we have a tendency to want to be constructive. While God is a good thing for many people -- for instance, without it people like Falwell and Robertson would probably be cannibals -- others don't need a belief in God to pursue moral principles. I'm an atheist, but only oppose those who believe in an intolerant God Who wants to restrict the rights of gays and women, or Who advocates war, believes in the superiority of one people over another, or Who favors unfettered greed, or Who believes that low taxes are more important than helping the poor. God is fine when it's a harmless belief or motivates people to do good, as it did with people like Martin Luther King and Gandhi.
Obama & Insight,
Obama right now seems to be "clean" (no pun intended) but along the line if something dirty does come up you can be sure that the Left Wing Liberals will deny it, even if it is proven to be true, it is not politically correct to believe anything negative about "Beautiful Obama".
JESUS HAS RISEN.
