Oh that I don't know. I was just making light of the direction soveriegnty in Europe is heading. I have heard that England has far stricter, in favor of law enforcement that is, laws and regs regarding terrorism, or terrorist suspects.

England has far less protection of civil liberties than the US, that's true. Mainly that's on account of them not having a written constitution. But I don't usually consider the UK part of Europe as far as law and legal tradition goes. The most glaring difference is that the UK is a common law country, unlike any part of mainland Europe.
