At any rate, I've stated my opposition to military action versus Iran (I don't think it's going to happen anyway), but am disturbed by the reaction of some posters in here. Of course, I'm not surprised by it, merely disturbed. When I brought up that Iran was helping to fuel the chaos in Iraq, people didn't agree. How about now? Think they're meddling? As "understandable" as their meddling is, does that mean we should ignore it?
I must have missed all the people who said Iran wouldn't get involved. Who were they?

Well on this board a number of posters took Iran at their word when they denied deploying shaped charge roadside bombs to Iran. They claimed that the US gov had no proof of that.

I asked who else but Iran was sneding these devices into Iraq, as yet I haven't gotten a reply.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Ahh, people are being nit-picky, they do that around here. We might not exactly have proof on the IED's, but sure as hell Iran is doing something against us.
What I think scares people into saying stupid things like "there's no proof!" is the sound of the war drums beating. It's 2003 all over again, except now Iran instead of Iraq.

I think the liberal line on this board for the most part has been that by taking out Hussein, we were aiding Iran. After all, by taking out Hussein and putting up a weak, nearly useless government, in Iraq, Iran's biggest regional enemy is out of the picture, and they can try to form an alliance with the Iraqi Shiite majority. Now, who was it who said that Iran wouldn't get involved? It would seem more likely that would come from right-wingers who were trying to defend and justify the war for way too long.

It's all posturing for negotiating leverage. You build a chip stack, then you play a hand. This is all part of a broader strategy. IMO. If you rely on the MSM for all of your news, you'd think we're attacking Iran later this afternoon.

I haven't relied on anyone's opinon but my own, with my sources being just what the admin. has said.

THE LEFT WING LIBERAL SECRETLY DESPISES THE AMERICAN MILITARY, ONE OF THEIR HERO'S OPENLY ADMITTED IT (BILLY BLUE DRESS).

THE AMERICAN MILITARY DESPISED CLINTON/GORE AND THAT IS WHY BOOB GORE DIDN'T WANT THE MILITARY VOTE COUNTED, HE KNEW THEY HATED HIM.

DURING THE VIET NAM WAR WHEN THAT COMMUNIST WHORE FONDA CAME TO CAMBRIDGE TO SCREAM AND SHRIEK HER FILTHY BILE I STOOD ON A ROOF IN HARVARD SQUARE AND WATCHED THOSE ROTTEN MOTHER F-CKERS SPIT ON AND BURN THE AMERICAN FLAG AND CALL OUR TROOPS BABY KILLERS, JOHN (SCUMBAG) KERRY CAME HOME AND JOINED THEM

AMERICAN SERVICE MEN WHO LIVED IN CAMBRIDGE DIDN'T DARE TO GO OUT IN PUBLIC WEARING THEIR AMERICAN MILITARY UNIFORMS.

THERE ARE STILL PLENTY OF PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY THAT HATE OUR TROOPS (UNTIL IT'S TIME FOR THE TROOPS TO SAVE THEIR ROTTEN A$SES)
