Worst attack of the civil war so far, and it will get worse as the retaliation escalates. I have no solutions for the poor Iraqi people. I don't want our troops to be in the middle of the upcoming bloodbath. This will continue even if we inject 100,000 troops and maintain martial law for ten years. We can no longer afford to play referee in this mess. I don't know if our leaving will make it worse or stop the violence but our presence does nothing to stop this nightmare we created. It is getting worse while we are there. I wish we had leaders with the guts to bring the troops home NOW.
