If you libbers are crying for us to be more isolationist, why are so many of you SCREAMING for Bush to intervene in Darfur?
Probably because there's real genocide going on there, 20-fold worse than any executions Saddam ever perpetrated in Iraq..

Be honest here, the reasoning Bush laid out before the war had nothing to do with helping the Iraqis. It was sold to us as a security issue for us. If it were honestly presented as an issue of intervening in a genocide, then Americans could have had a dialog about what, if anything, should be done about it. And the rest of the world could have discussed it and decided to help us. But no, that train left the station when the war started under pretenses of WMD's, then WMD programs, and then the Iraq Al Qaeda connection. Bush is changing his story, and that's what makes him so hard to trust.
Additionally I don't care what the world thinks. If we took a global vote on whether the U.S. should annihilate itself by unleashing all it's nukes on itself, the world would probably vote for us to do it.
As foreigner who immigrated to America, I am surprised you have such a myopic view of the world.

I've lived here since 1979 and been a citizen since 1984, I didn't just show up yesterday. Plus I'm from England which isn't wholly different from the U.S. - until the Muslim freaks started taking over long after I was gone, anyway.
I just like to call them freaks, it gets the liberals all upset.
Honestly, I haven't been back to England since I left in 1979. I am now a citizen of the greatest country in the world, I have no need to go back. But from what my relatives say, I probably overstated it by saying "taken over" but they have made what to many is an unwelcomed mark. The street my Grandmother used to live on used to be a Baptist Church. It's now a mosque. No, there's nothing inherently wrong with that but it's a sign of how things are changing over there.

Lol, "no need to go back" shows a very weird form of closed-mindednes. Traveling is never about need, it's about seeing places different from where you live (for better or worse).

Nah, there's plenty to see in this country. And I'm not a big traveler anyway.

According to the latest BBC poll, almost 60% of the folks from England have a negative view of America.
Do you think this is because of the "Muslim freaks"?
60%'s not bad . . . I bet almost 60% of Americans have a negative view of America . . . all the liberals do, what's that, a solid 40% or so right off the bat.
