Defense? When did I defend a disgusting, scumbag, pedophile like Foley? That's right, I didn't. Don't get all defensive over your own admitted position regarding the explotation of molested children for political gain. You hoped kids were molested so "your party" could exploit it. That's not my problem buddy, that's yours.

How about telling the gazebo lovers in Lowell to go to hell? How about the MBTA not giving out full pensions after 23 years of service, with the pay out being the average of their top 3 income years, so as to not run a $2.8 Billion dollar operating defeicit? How about not permitting Massport to waste money so that it doesn't have to give it to the state, and is able to carry the same budget the following year? Hmm...what about the state monopoly, ahem, I mean lottery, that takes in over $4.4 Billion, and gives back the state $800-900 million? Why do they only pay back 21% of revenues? How many cronies are getting fat at the lottery? Why were illegal aliens getting housing before the eldery & vets in this state? Why are we paying to teach illegal children, and to treat illegal aliens? Why do other americans have to pay for the retards in this state, who are so grossly insane and ineffiecient, that they can't pay for themselves?

C'mon, Real World, own up to the fact that you're criticizing me as someone who exploits for political gain the exploiter of children, so it follows you prefer defending the exploiter of children. I'm not saying there aren't flaws and I'm all for efficiency, budget control, fairness, etc. but what you're talking about mostly is state dollars, not federal dollars, and you're not presenting any sort of reason why MA shouldn't try to get more federal dollars given the current system. You're probably against tax loopholes, does that mean you don't take advantage of them when you can?

That's fine. You continue to attack those who attacked Foley, and I'll continue to defend them. The bottom line is the goal was to stop unethical behavior by Foley and his superiors, and the Democrats did that and the Republicans paid. In case you're interested, that's called justice, which I gather you're opposed to.

I don't think anyone would read into what I said what you read into it. All I'm saying that if there's a legitimate issue, then it should be exposed and dealt with. If the Democrats benefit from it, so be it. What Foley did was wrong. The fact that it was covered up by senor Republicans was also wrong. In politics the penalty for unethical behavior is loss of political clout. That's the sentence imposed by the American people. I hope someone else pipes in here. I really think your point is very strange.
