Jesus I wish I was around here then, I would have loved to have gotten in on some of that stuff.

I just think that people's skin is far too thin in most cases. Unfortunately, politics and name calling go hand in hand.

We should be pretty safe in here this week. As long as the Pats are on the march there will be activity on the main board and the visitors won't come in here and have their eyes start bleeding. Its not just visitors though I'd bet, some of the regs on the main board are a bit touchy.

Its easy enough with the VB software to make a sub forum invisible to people who aren't registered btw.

What's funny, is the righties are the ones crying of the attacks, they are complaining about the double standard which exists in this forums censorship. Not that you would understand that. QuiGon or Harry posts something and it gets closed or deleted, NEM & Co. post anything they desire and it's permitted to fly. Why am I not surprised that you don't understand what the issue is? Most people in here don't care that you call them a bunkerite, or a neo-con whatever. What they are pissed at is the biased censorship of there posts and threads. Where I do not envy Patters job as moderator, I do find it a bit bizarre that he closes threads in the manner with which he has. I think people need to dewussify a bit.

LOL... perhaps if you weren't so damned condescending and sanctimonious, you would read better.... I clearly stated that I've seen several "liberal" threads closed down... perhaps you missed those...

Lying neo-con traitors I call them.

"Please dont criticize my man Georgie, just because he was born an elitist, worked hard to become a drunk, dodged a war, bankrupted a few businesses, stole an election, and throws more money at a ruined country than his own, I still support him...he's folksy and down-to-earth and frankly, I'm as dumb as a freaking rock"

The ones you have to watch out for are those who claim to be "LIBERTARIANS" and are later found out to be harcore "PROGRESSIVES".

They hate when they are called out on that, than they start with the name-calling.

Yeah, liberal threads closed down after poster replies got personal. The threads were not closed down due to there original content. I've yet to see a left of center poster complain that their thread was deleted upon creation. I've seen right of centers complain multiple times. Of course that doens't mean it hasn't happened both ways, but I've yet to see it in my time here.
