How dare a bunch of immigrants go to someone else's country and impose their values upon them? Can you imagine, say, a bunch of religious fanatics going to a big continent, killing quite a few of its inhabitants, taking their resources and then uniting the whole land into one big state, naming it after, say, one of its earliest explorers? Can you imagine those settlers setting up their own government, with its own laws and ways of doing things, sidelining the natives in the process?
Ever notice that when people want to criticize America as an institution, they have to go back hundreds of years into history...?

How about being able to take criticism of the history of your own people when it's the truth without being so thin-skinned about it?
Let's look at some horrible deeds done by our magically perfect society within the last hundred years? Maybe you've forgotten:
1. The attack on the veterans camps in washington DC by federal troops on WWI veterans demanding pay for service.
2. Denial of black Americans of their basic rights
3. The continuation of the extermination of the American Indians at the end of the American Holocaust
4. The internment of loyal American citizens during WWII based on their ethnic background.
5. The involvement of US forces under UN control in the Korean conflict and Bosnian civil war
6. The slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese from 1963 to 1973.
7. The invasions of Cuba, Panama, Grenada, and Iraq twice.
8. The illegal covert support of Contra forces in Nicaragua
9. The illegal bombing raids into Libya
10. Billy Ray Cyrus and rap music

Why do the Muslims think dogs are unpure, Oprah Winfrey lets her dog kiss her on the mouth, in South East Asia they eat them, Billy Blue Dress was another one who kissed his dog on the mouth, dogs are purer than donkeys and camels, wouldn't you say, do you have any idea how big a piece of Camel ***** is?
"Call me a cab I'm going home" "c'mon Lassie, wanna go for a ride"

Boy, you libbies just love to talk about all of America's black marks throughout history..? I bet that list just rolled right off your tongue. How quickly you show you true colors.
But here's the problem - you didn't understand what I said. Perhaps it was my fault since I phrased it poorly so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I am not saying America has never done bad things, but I am talking about as an institution. The only examples you give in your top-10 list from above that reflects an institutional shortcoming is numbers 2 and 4, and even those has been long gone for most of our lives - plus #4 wasn't entirely a bad idea because among all those Japanese interred were a hell of a lot of spies and sabateurs. It's easy to sit in your ivory tower and criticize but it 60+ years after the fact.
Although now it is perfectly legal to discriminate against white men in our society, so I guess that is an institutional shortcoming still among us.
But I love how you libbies are so quick to criticize when given the slightest opportunity. As mentioned above, you just show your true colors.
Good for him. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that references a Holocaust denier website and quotes one of the country's foremost, leading anti-Semitic Holocaust denier is a scumbag.
