The health minister blamed the Sunni's and Whabbi's not the Americans. OF course he is a Shia and a member of a group with ties to Iran, I'm sure he would have no reason to inflate the number of deaths'

Of course he has the good sense that liberals do not to blame the deaths of innocents on the murderers rather than the person who liberated these folks rom Saddam.

Another notable part of the article is the reaction of the Iraqi factions to the election in this country. They are now acting out of fear that the US is going to cut and run.

Did Clinton have to answer for the 1/2 million women and children killed during the no-fly zone war Mikey?

Have you ever called out Clinton and Albright for the deaths of those civilians Mikey?

I didn't think so....which means your question is 100% political and 0% compassionate to the civilians of Iraq.

So I guess the left expects that during a time of war NO civilians are to be harmed in any way?

Are you ready to go digging up FDR's rotted corpse and defile it because MILLIONS of civilians were killed during WWII?

What could be more vile than a comparison between the rotten skin-bag that is Bush and the Greatest President of the 20th century? Not to mention TWOT and WWII? Are you serious?

Amazing how the righties are defending the deaths of 150,000 civilians. How cold! No wonder they lost so big in the election. And, F.B.N., do you have a link to support your contention that 500,000 died in the no-fly zone? I have not seen a number like that. Lastly, it's worth pointing out that the deaths in Iraq are a direct result of the war we launched. Perhaps if Bush had listened to the experts and provided more troops, fewer civilians would have died.

You want insight into why the Republicans got a giant electoral boot in the ass on Tuesday, there it is right there.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this remark was made tongue in cheek, but even if it was, it's pretty despicable.
