Re: Another George Bush White House official goin to jail
Good didn't read the article but if you're a crook you should go to jail.
BTW mikey could you go a little deeper and tell us how many administration officals from the Bush administration have been convicted and compare it to the number of Clinton administration officals who were convicted so we can uinderstand just how corrupt the Bush administration is?

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

You have to wonder, how many Bush Administrators would be convicted if there was a Democratic Congress. Maybe we'll see soon enough.

Re: Another George Bush White House official goin to jail
Safavian, 39, a former chief of staff for the General Services Administration, wept as he told Friedman that he knows now he never should have given Abramoff inside information about government-owned real estate that the lobbyist wanted to acquire. At the time, Safavian said, he thought what he was doing was innocuous. "I didn't see anything wrong in helping Jack," he said.
The guy is a criminal and hopefully his political career is permanently ruined. Either way, all administrations are corrupt. What is wrong about what we in here seem to do, is we point the finger at the opposing side as if to say that one is better, when infact, they are both aweful. Clinton's Admin was one of the most corrupt on record. The Bush Admin is seems to be doing its best to unseat them for the top spot. The sad part about all of this is that the next admin probably won't be any better.
As usual, Joe Taxpayer pays the price.

I agree.
What all I hear from both sides amounts to is:
"We suck less".
How sad for America.

So, by having a Republican majority during Bush's term has favored his administration and kept them shielded. But, of course you knew that.

After spending years on a Clinton witch hunt and millions in taxpayer dollars...the Rapes came up with what?
He lied about sex.
OMG...you are truly ignorant if you think there is any comparison between what happened when we had a Dumb pres and a Rape Congress, and whats happening now with Rapes controlling everything.
There is no comparison. None.

Well we know Bj plead no contest to the perjury charge, I never cared about that. I was more bothered by the 900 FBI files that were found (illegally) in the WH and the IRS audits of almost every conservative org int he country while no Left wing groups were audited.
I was inquiring about the relative # of administration officals convicted to try to quantify the relative levels of corruption.
Any facts from you?
