As to the fence ... yes I have seen it.

As to your first part .... i get all that.

I am against the fence because in terms of symbolism ... a fence is not America.

Now ... as to the practical side. Human nature being what it is... you can bet some areas will not be watched as well as they should be due to the fence...a chain being only as strong as the weakest link...I don't need to explain that here.

I would rather see stricter enforcement.

tougher laws for the people caught

extremely tough bordering on insane laws for the trafficers....the most dangerous of all because it is they who gain expertise and would be utilized to smuggle terrorists in.

Increased quotas for immigrants from Central and South America.

Increased penalties for companies using illegal workers.

All these increased fines and laws keeps people busy in protecting our border. Keeping people busy means greater attention to who is here and who just left which is way better than relying on a fence....that carries a horrible symbolic picture IMO.

A fence is not America? Make it a 40' high white picket fence then. Only, surround with a mine field.

Why increase quotas from central and south america? That type of discrimination isn't America.

I agree with the tougher laws stuff. IT's why I like the fence. I'm a realist and I know that in order to stop, or atleast control the problem, we need to do more than just one thing.

Are you trying to imply that a criminal would be getting fukced? American citizens get fukced. I refuse to pity illegal criminals who knowingly break our laws when they cross our border illegally. To me, if they round them all up and deport them all tommorow, I won't feel bad. That is the result of their criminal actions. Now do I expect them to be rounded up and deported? No. But if it was done, should I pity them? No I shouldn't. If you want to come here, do it legally. I refuse to reward people who act criminally, while punishing those who have obeyed our wishes by respecting our laws, and have waited in line.


Like I said, Joe Taxpayer gets fukced by the invasion by having $50 raped from his paycheck while saving 99 cents on produce.
