Default Osama Bin Forgotten

This might be a good time for the monkey who claimed to want him "dead or alive" only to later claim that he "doesn't really think about him anymore" to roll his head out in front of the masses.

Thoughts??

Quote:
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

What exactly is your proposal that The US invade Pakistan to get him?

LOL, they just want us to get him. Of course, if we kill civilians to do it they'll whine. And if American soldiers are killed to do it they'll whine.

We should just say "come out, come out wherever you are" and arrest him when he comes out unarmed.

I think he was just pointing out how Bush is a walking contradiction. From his initial presidential debates on invasions to his current position. The good news is, he effectively will have no power very soon.

The reason for his back track is simple. We don't want him. I've been explaining this for a while. My position is that the west doesn't want him to be captured, or die by our sword. The man is supposedly dying, if not already dead, and his death by the US would make a martyr out of him. Remember he is the face of the radical cause.

Bin Laden is Dying (hope he is suffering) Bush knows Bin Laden is dying, Bush wants Bin Laden to die in a Cave (so do I) Bush does not want Bin Laden to die a Hero in an American Prison with Cute Perky Katie "Gushing and Fawning" about him on TV each evening or the F-cking ACLU bastards sticking their ***** stained noses into the whole mess.

LIBERAL NEW DEMOCRATS WOULD LOVE TO SEE BIN LADEN CAPTURED AND BROUGHT TO AMERICA SO THEY COULD "USE HIM".

If we capture Bin Laden and bring him to America the Liberal Colleges, the Liberal Students, the Liberal Professors, the Liberal Media, and those scummy Wife Swapping Pigs in Hollywood will turn him into a National Celebrity Hero, the Dixie Chicks will demand to be allowed to have Sex with him.

Good work Mr President, let him rot in his cave with his f-cking donkey.

I completely disagree with the idea that capturing Bin Laden would be bad for the country and bad for Bush's political prospects. Seeing a couple of Marines drag him out from under some rock in Afghanistan would have done so much to heal our divisiveness its incalculable. I expect the RNC would have gladly paid to put a bullet-proof glass walkway up in front of Manhattan District Court just so there could be video of that animal being driven up to the sidewalk out front in chains and surrounded by US Marshals. That would have given the Repugs control of the government indefinitely.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I was friggin' giddy when it looked like we had him trapped at Tora Bora.

I also would like to see that "IF" they would do that, but we all know they would treat him like a king, the democrats would go nuts if we dragged him out or humiliated him or "offended" him.
Pelosi & Murtha would set themselves on fire if the Marines "mistreated" him.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd like to see the fugger tied up and stoned. I think his capture or death would mean a minimum of 30 points added to Bush's approval rating. I agree there. The reasons why I don't think the west wants him is the effect globally. If we zapped UBL what would happen inside Pakistan? Would it mean a coup in that country? Would it cause massive individual suicide attacks accross the globe? Would it increase the radical cause ten fold? And at what benefit? Is UBL that big a fish in the TWAT cause? Is he more of a figure head, a trophy if you will, as opposed to an actual hard target who's death would weaken Al-Queda? I think that these are all valid questions and angles that are considered when UBL comes up in the Oval office. Politicially and socially, his death or capture would be worth something, but is this a political and social fight, or is it a genuine war to preserve freedom accross the globe? I just think his death or capture may not be more of a detriment to the cause than it would a gain.

Just my 2 cents.
