loved the part about how Lamont wins on one item and one item only among likely voters, the War in Iraq. As I stated he is a one trick pony that pandered to the Democratic base, too bad when you run for Senator you represent everyone in the state not just the base.

I think that race is hilarious. Nothing like party politics. Gotta love it! Lieberman was once a Dem darling, now he's a thorn in their arse. HA! Too funny.

The Quinnipiac poll showed that Lieberman has higher favorability ratings among likely voters, 51 percent to Lamont's 31 percent. While Lamont has slightly higher favorability numbers among Democrats (47 percent to 43 percent), Lieberman far outdistances his challenger among likely Republican and unaffiliated voters.

Seventy percent of Republicans view Lieberman favorably compared to 12 percent for Lamont, and 48 percent of independent voters view Lieberman favorably compared to 30 percent for Lamont.

Unaffiliated voters outnumber Democrats and Republicans in the state.

Those are some rough numbers for Lamont.

I am formally inviting all of you that have posted on this subject, in this thread, to come back here and post again after the elections in CT and explain as to why Lieberman did not win.

Have you ever noticed that some liberals rally look like liberals, they have a Goofy Look, they are pasty faced, and they constantly GRIN.

Their perpetual grin is to "make believe" that they are right and you are wrong and they try to give the impression that "nothing bothers them"

If it were up to me, or if I had a vote, I'd probably vote for Lieberman as I would never vote for an ultra liberal like Lamont. Thing is, I don't have a vote as I do not live in Conneticutt. Ten points with 6 weeks to go is not favorable, but it's not insurmountable either. The problem I see for Lamont is the favorability figures. He's well behind there. That is not good.

Lamont only wins if he gets the revolutionary war soldier vote

(the traditional Democrat party voting block........ the graveyard).
