Default No CA Gay Marriage During Appeals Process

Well, Judge Walker has already had one of his rulings overturned, as an appeals court overruled his decision to allow gay marriages to continue in California against the will of a majority of California citizens.

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Puts Gay Marriage on Hold in California, Overturning Judge's Order - ABC News

A federal appeals court ruled today that California's ban on gay marriage will remain in place indefinitely as judges consider whether it is constitutional.

The decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturns the order of a federal judge last week that would have permitted same-sex couples to marry as soon as this week.

The three-judge panel that issued the decision said the 9th Circuit will expedite the challenge to California's voter-aproved ban on gay marriage, though the case will not be heard in court until December.

We should stop letting Muslims marry, too.

Well, I don't care if they marry but if we could somehow stop them from procreating the world would be a better place.

You mean because of overpopulation and the drain on their natural resources?

Both! No procreating, and certainly no marriage -- they ruin marriage for everyone else.

I think marriage and procreation should be banned for the following groups of people:

1. Those who disagree with me.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

Interesting decision... but cannot find out the judges sexual orientation??? Is that no longer important, or only germaine as Walker is gay?? If they are married, they may have a conflict and minimally recused themselves from this decision...

Their political backgrounds are interesting, looks like those damned Dems believe in the constitution.. or at least the judicial process.

Judge Leavy... appointed by Reagan
Judge Hawkins..appointed by Clinton
Judge Thomas.. apponted by Clinton

A government for the people and by the people.

America settles things in the Supreme Court, that it where it will be settled, God Willing.

In the meantime, who gives a *****.

Yep, this was a very good move. Let it get to the SCOTUS.
