Newsflash: Government conducts a lot of important affairs of state. They also conduct a lot of minutae. They can do both at the same time.

You say "they couldn't wait?" Well, then, what exactly should they wait for...? At what point in time is life in MA going to be so wonderful and perfect that it is acceptable for you to allow government to do the stupid, silly stuff they are always doing...?

Maybe they should have just buried their heads in the sand on this issue like they did gay marriage...
