Again I doubt 50 % percent of those britains were upset over a 60 second sentence that said I'm embarassed that bush is from texas

So it went fom a 60 second statement to a 3 year campaign of bashing the dixie chicks because like most performers do more that just sing to the audience, and again that particular audience was in england consisting of britains, who could give a sh-- about bush. But it sure was a great way to rally up a base over here in a america where less than 1 /10 of 1 percent were even at the friggen concert in england. Which one you think was more of a political statement, hers, or the republicans making it an issue here in america for 3 years Just my opinion

The only time this statement was forced down americans throats was when the right-wing media made it a political issue for 3 years on america. Otherwise you would have never heard natalie say in britain to britains that she is embarassed that GWB is from texas before playing music. Think about that!

And the right-wingers picked it up and used it as a weapon for political purposes forcing down americas throat and effectively having the dixie chicks censored.
