Harry, you're institutionalized here and I wouldn't dream of asking you to leave... but how come you ended up on a Patriots forum when you couldn't care less about football?
I didn't say I didn't care for football I said "I don't know much about it" I don't follow it, I like the big games (Superbowl ect) it's not just fooball I am the same way with baseball, I watch baseball on the news you see all the goodstuff in a few minutes.
The Forum:
I stumbled onto it and wanted to rub elbows with all these College guys, I've learned some big words since I came on here.

I was responding to media matters on general and not the O'Reilly clip in particular. Fankly I don't watch o'reilly or his competitors at night. Your response is a prime example or trying to cherry pick and take things out of context to make a phoney point.
I gave an example, not a cherry pick.
You gave a blanket response.

Why ban links from any (legal) site? Why do you want to do that? If you provide a link to a site with which I don't agree generally, I read the link. Sometimes I agree with it, and it makes me think.
As a general example, I used to be very pro-choice. However, the more I read on the issue, the less sure I am. I am starting to see the foetus as a baby and therefore as a human life. As another example, I used to believe in socialism. Now, I believe that the free market is the best economic system.
I came to this conclusion by reading, researching, speaking to people and so on. At some point in your life, you might actually want to challenge your own beliefs, rather than keep trying to "win arguments", however you define that, exactly.

So, have you learned what a crossing pattern is yet, Harry?

Well said, as long as a link is posted we can look and make our own decisions on the content. The idea of making all the links on a political board, vanilla is silly. One can learn alot about the perspective of others by looking at their sources of information.

"How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."
From now on lets agree that links from the following websites are NOT considered reliable and therfore cannot be used to support an argument.
Here is the list:
LIBERAL SITES:
Democratic underground
ACLU
Moveon.org
Mediamatters
CNN
NY Times
LA Times
any San Francisco newspaper
Ed Shultz
Don't forget youtube, and any other media that crosses your path and political mentality.
YouTube is annoying politically. Anyone can paint any scenario they wish with YouTube...it's a Michael Moore playground. It exists for entertainment and that's what it should exist for...nothing more...and that goes for the liberals and the conservatives both...I won't watch and I don't go to the site...it's media for grade school intellect.
