Default On a lighter side...List your most admired people

List the 5 people alive during your lifetime that you most admire and why. Let's try keeping things civil with no personal attacks.

Excluding members of my family.
In no particular order.

Brendan Sullivan - Washington DC based lawyer. If I should ever need a lawyer to defend me, he would be the one I want.

Honorable Judge Antonin Scalia - A conformist to the Constitution. Exactly what the other Justices should strive to be.

Karl Rove - Singularly the man I most strive to duplicate. A true master of politics. Has that uncanny knack of empowering people to vote that his oppenents still have not figured out.

Richard Scaife - One of the initial founders of The Heritage Foundation, a non-profit conservative think tank founded in 1973 at a time when conservative values were not popular. When we needed a man to stand for values, he was not afraid to be that man.

Ronald Reagan - Simply the best President of my lifetime.

I don't think anybody wants to see "my choices".

Holy crap! George Patton! George Patton! I can't believe you wrote his name.
You know, NEM. I have always suspected that you had some conservative values and they seem to be showing here.
It's all good, dude.

Ok.
Steve Colbert. A rock of a conservative.
Ann Coulter- Many may hate her but she has balls (to go along with the adams apple)
Laura Ingraham- In all seriousness she may actually top my list here.
Bill Belichick- I mean do I really need to explain?
David Ortiz- The man was born for the big clutch hit anytime anywhere.
Albert Pulhols- My favorite non Red Sox player.
Vox Day-A conservative libertarian on the border to be an anarchist.
Matt Stone and Tres Parker
Eric Cartman

Coulter & Ingraham... Colbert, Parker & Stone? I think there's smoke coming out of my ears... does not compute!

LOL!
You say that like it was a bad thing.

I'm with you on George Will, though. Great moderate conservative writer.
Loves baseball, too.

Not a bad thing, it's just the Coulter and Ingraham are ideologically neo-conservative, while Colbert, Parker, and Stone are either liberal, or at least decidedly not neo-conservative.
