There was one tactic we used in the war that was very usefull. I heard we equipped several Humvees with huge speakers. The Humvees would drive around and provoke the Iraqi fighters by questioning their manhood (gay references I believe).
The Iraqi fighters that fell for it would give up their position and then be captured or killed. To me...a sharp contrast from Napalm...I mean if you're going to get killed...might as well get killed rather instantly or be captured.
But to burn people alive and say it was usefull and then deny that Abu Ghraib tactics were cruel makes no sense. Abu Ghraib was way more humane than Napalm or WP could ever be. Also one is directed against specific people and the other is indiscriminant.
