I agree fully.

If napalm was used, and it certainly seems that it was, this will only lead to more and more hatred of the US by Muslim Extremists and those who hate us anyways. Just Googled this and found it was probably used in Fallujah, seems to be overkill seeing as how we ran all over the Iraqi Army. The people who suffer most from Napalm are the innocents, and the use of this can never be justified.

Surprised to see that with all of the smart bomb technology, that this is still part of our arsenal. The more I read about this mess in Iraq, the worse it actually seems.

Its war why is that horrendous. To suggest so, suggests a level of naivete on your part. The horrors of war are well documented. Perhaps you wanted them to use the fuel/air bomb they used in the first gulf war. You know the one that is one level down in power from a nuclear bomb. The blast is so powerful that any human in the blast zone has his bones and organs crushed from the impact of the blast.

bottomline war is a horrendous thing in and of itself......

The MSM cannot report on such acts of war. If they did, Bush and his criminal cabal would be sent to prison for war crimes. We can't have that in the midst of the war. So we wait until years after to know the truth of what happened, what was done in your name and mine. Then and only then, will we feel the shame like we felt after My Lei, and the ruthless firebombing of Dresden and Tokyo, the atomic bombing of cities. Its the Machiavellian approach to conflict. The ends justify the means. It means people like BF and PFIM can sleep well, rest assured, knowing that indiscriminant killing of civilians is justifiable.

Bush will be long gone by then, only his legacy of blowback will remain in the form of terrorist acts against us in retaliation for the atrocities we may or may not have committed, but were too busy to pay attention, to get the truth, or to care. Of course, since people like BF and PFIM and other Bushies endorse indiscriminant killing of civilians, don't be too shocked to find that our enemies end up sharing the same mentality.

Its unfortuante, but your ilk will be personally responsible for a generation of terrorism directed our way because you endorsed the uncurbed killing of civilians as a means to fight terror. I hope you are proud of that accomplishment in your eternal life. It will be hot there, and you'll have plenty of time to experience what napalm is like.

Hard to imagine that Napalm, could be used to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people, in fact the exact opposite will probably happen.

Every time I hear of Napalm I see that little Vietnamese girl, running down the street naked after being burned by it. I know I am a sympathetic sap, but going after warriors is one thing, going after innocents will be answerable in the afterlife.

We went all over this a few years ago, I would wish that everyone would believe the good guys instead of the bad guys:
http://usinfo.state.gov/media/Archiv..._Fallujah.html

The US does not have any Napalm, What the US did use, was derivative that illuminates the battlefield at night, (it burns up completely in the air) in order to LIMIT ANY CIVILIAN CAUSLTIES!!! by pinpointing the enemies position!

Everyone who is currently wearing a US uniform now waits for your apoligies...........

are you sure you are not confusing that with the WP reports that came out around then?? WP is the illuminator, not palmitic acid.

Time to check your facts again.

The web site, Global Security.org, is a fairly reliable rightish web site and there has been some corroraboration... or no retraction anyways. Just cause the US denies it does not mean it did not happen.

There is no need to apologize, not sure about the apoligies though.

I don't understand how some people can think it's okay to use questionable tactics and weapons because of the idea that in war anything is okay.

The 'anything goes' attitude creates a very uncomfortable precedent and slippery slope. Under that philosophy, why not go nuclear every time, or just use biological weapons?

I know we all like to think we are the good guys, act more moral than other countries, and are doing the right things around the world. However, the reality is that history is written by the victors, and often-times our own faults and crimes are ignored because we don't want to face them.

The worst part if it is we will probably continue thinking we can do no wrong, until we realize 10 years from now all the things we have done to incite more hate and anger from Muslims who have had innocent friends and relatives die in the Middle East.
