Keep looking in the mirror, the dead Americans will haunt you for the rest of your life because you could have done something to help to stop the unnecessary killing but were too ignorant to do so.l
Same ****, different day.

What have you actually done to stop this war that you say is so wrong?

Instead of posting the same rants with the same slogans on this message board every day, why don't you send letters every day to all 50 Senators and all 435 Congressmen expaining why you think its so wrong. Maybe you'll convince some of them.

Use the same terms and slogans that you use here. That should win them over.

If I felt that way, which I don't, I would do something like that.

Is that your way of honoring the dead? Why not just say, "It's a terrible loss," or something like that?

Another cheerleader chimes in, lovely.

Well, PFIEL, why not redirect this thread as a tribute to the deceased? Just because an anti-war person posts it doesn't mean he takes pleasure in it. In fact, many people, both for and against the war, see the loss of American soldier's lives as the most painful aspect of the war. I guess you're not one of them?

Yeah it ******* sucks, but the way mikey and NEM celebrate it for political gain is disgusting. They are no better than Fred Phelps.

NO, Patters, it's not my way of honoring the dead.

I honor every fallen soldier, every last one of them. I hope that there are no more. But, I believe that the mission must be compeleted. It would be a diaster for our country and for the world if we didn't.

I don't honor that pig Mikey. He post a new thread everytime there is a dead soldier and rejoices in it becasue it fits his plitical agenda.

Show me one thread that Mikey has posted that he had honored our soldiers for completing a sucessful mission without any casualties.

Just show me one (1) and I will publically apologize to him on this forum and ban myself from posting on this forum. Just one (1). Of all the posters on this board, he is the only one that I have on my ignore list. But,I can still see the thread titles that he posts.

And, if you as a mod, think that I have crossed the line by calling him a pig for posting threads celebrating the deaths of our soldiers. If you think, as a mod, think that I've crossed the line by stating that I think he jerks off with every report of a dead soldier. Just PM me and I will ban myself from this forum.

What I've said about him is what I truely and honestly think and I don't regret it and I don't take it back.

Mikey and NEM are pivot men in their respective circle jerks over dead troops.

Protein makes them angry I suppose because they're swallowing an awful lot.

That's really a different issue. I too honor every fallen soldier. Those I know and have known have been mostly sincere people wanting to do right and improve themselves; they have not been caught up in politics likes those of us in this forum. I may disagree with the mission they're assigned to, but I have a lot of respect for the vast majority of them. When they die, I think of their families that simply wanted their child to become a good person, and instead end up with with a corpse. It's terribly sad, and if I can't fully justify a war, I am fully opposed to it for the sadness and destruction it creates.

If a conservative posted what Mikey did, it would be seen as a tribute. I think Mikey posts it as a way of condemning the war, not as a way of celebrating the price of war.

There might well be one. If there is, someone who wants you to apologize will post it. I for one would urge you to have a more rounded view of Mikey's post.

C'mon, you know you crossed the line, but you're not the first and not the last to do so. My only issue with people crossing the line is when everyone starts doing it and the whole forum to turns into a flame war. I think both FTW and I oppose banning anyone except in the most extreme circumstances. That said, it helps when people calm down and either ignore people or challenge them in a respectful way.

I assume you did not mean what you wrote literally, but you could have said in a more dignified way, such as, "Mikey seems to get great pleasure out of the death's of our soldiers." Even that would go a great way toward keeping this forum civilized.
