Well this group had been established during the Clinton administration in 1996 and aparently hadn't accomplished much in the last 10 years. Maybe turn the job over to military intel.

Actually the funniest thing I've ever heard was some right wing nut explaining how the CIA has all these recalcitrant Clinton hires still on board, which is why they continually assessed Iraq as not a danger to the U.S. and not in bed with terrorists. It cracked me up... I was quoting from published CIA reports and he was saying how it was all biased and left wing.

(Keep that around for the next embarassing moment, Harry.... it's a good one, high on the entertainment value, and since there's no necessity for a right wing argument to hold any water, just as functional as the rest of what comes out of the Rightist spin machine.)

Well if you want to take a comment out of context and use that as proof of something knock yourself, out. Imagine FDR trying to answer as to Hitler's whereabouts in Jan 1943. He is fighting a war against a loosly linked org and associated groups, trying to amke a war about 1 man is foolish.

If you think killing OBL is the end point of the war you will be disappointed when he is killed and ISlamic terrorism continues. There is a whole infrastructure to be dismantled.
