I had heard on a news program that the cities are ok, but if you are a secular muslim and head out the the boonies you take your life in your hands. The rural areas are once again controlled by the Taliban.

What I don't understand is this:

After spending $500 Billion and sending 2,500 American boys to their deaths, aren't these Al Qaeda/Taliban guys supposed to be dead and buried in the desert??

It is 5 freaking years after the 9/11 attack on America and these goons are still alive and kicking??

Yesterday posted an article that stated that the FBI cannot link OBL to 9/11, today I read the CIA is abandoning its special unit that has been searching for him. Umm, is something afoul here, guess we need our resources for Iraqi freedom.
