Mikey hasn't been around, he must be reading the Obituaries, if you want to dance Mike you have to pay the fiddler, there are still a lot of us out here that understand that those soldiers are dying to protect this country and you from being blown up by the Muslim Terrorists regardless of what the Sore Losing Bush Haters say.

Those soldiers died at the hands of the same people that killed three thousand right here in New York City USA they are the Enemy, Muslim Terrorists, now we have some scum bag home grown terrorists trying to imitate them, Bush captured 7 of them this week down in Miami Florida.

Mikey posts the same stuff on other boards. But, I didn't want to bring this up because it would be considered an attack. His posting it on other boards puts him in the category of POLITICAL ACTIVIST.

I only discuss politics here...I think that is true for most here. That brings more validity to honest discussion. I said before and I'll say it again...no poster should be allowed to be a political activist on IAN'S PatsFans.Com site. It was not created for that purpose...whomever wishes to post like that can esily do so on dedicated political sites.

Mikey being silenced won't stop the soldiers from getting killed. It'll just make it easier for everyone to tune the deaths out.

The "POLITICAL ACTIVIST" jibberish has me scratching my head. Are you implying that one should only care a little about politics to post here rather than a lot? Is it your contention that Mikey has somehow lost his amature status as a poster and needs to be removed? this isn't the NCAA ya know.

We had some of these debates in the early days of the forum. Many sites with forums already have their opinions in place...like Ed Shultz(sic) for instance. He's a liberal to moderate democrat who is on the radio and internet.

This site(forum) does not have any opinion(slant). It's purpose initially was to create an area for discussion of politics, religion, issues...topics in the news so that they would stay out of the Patriots main forum.

So, the idea here is to initiate discussion and share opinions. Activists don't share opinions across the board...they are narrow in scope...we all know this. But, they have every right to be that way and it's good for the system whether we agree or not.

IMO...anyone here who posts links like that with no opinion attached, who repeatedly posts the same over and over is on a mission and discussion is not part of that mission....pushing their opinion just like political activists.

Mikey has posted opinion before...he is very capable and is not an amateur.
We are free to post alot or a little...that has never mattered.


I keep going back to IAN and many here are blowing it off. I have had many conversations with him when he was less busy. He has little regard for posters who repeatedly drop a link or a few words in a post and bring nothing to the site. He wants good discussion with no trouble. If you want to call those posts DISCUSSION...there's nothing more for me to say.

My opinion on this topic goes back to this forums early days. BTW, I am the one responsible for it because I was the one who kept asking IAN for it.
So, people who are here just to make people mad and not bring discussion to the table annoy me...they are taking advantage of the site, moderators and showing great disrespect for the forum...that's it nothing more to say.

Mikey is a POS! He doesn't argue any points, I think the only thing he does is post links to stories about soilders dying. He is the classic kid who used to answer everything with, "I know what you are, but what am I?"

I was deleting his treads the minute he opened them, but alas, I can not keep up because, unlike most liberals, I have a job I actually have to go to.

I sugguest that we treat him like the whiney little sissy he is and either just ignore him, much like the women do, or simple mock as I am doing here.

I can see what Patters was trying to do, the threads he closed had nothing to do with politics, so he tried to move the discussion back to politics, that is what we are suppose to do.

For the record, I'm of the opinion that nobody should be banned here ever and that the only censorship that should occur should be over illegal stuff, IE child porn and whatnot. Gloves-off is the environment I most prefer; but I respect the fact that this isn't my forum and that stricter rules are entirely fair if that's what the owner wants.

I just can't stand hypocrisy, If you're incapable of following your own rule, drop the rule.
