If these charges are true as presented in the article, then they soldiers will and should be put in jail. I hope the charges are proven false.

I hope so, too.
One difference of opinion, though. If they ID the guy who allegedly shot the 2 year-old in the head, he needs the same treatment.

There are no winners here.
It is a sad sad situation, no matter where you are coming from.
I certainly hope that the charges are bogus as well but from everything that I have seen and read on the incident, it is not likely.

I agree,Haditha looks like a hoaz, from the report this does not. If there are other facts not in this report hopefully they are brought out. Do we know if the witness are locals,other US Military or a combination?

Murtha will have him convicted before he is even charged, but I agree, if guilty this guy should be shot.
