But I must say, comparing todays politicians/talking heads to Hitler is getting a little old and is pretty far off base.

I got one wrong only by chance - I guessed on four of them. They're hard to tell apart but I doubt Hitler talked about topless women, but Ann does.....I wonder why?

Anne may be desirous of others...anyways I got 7 right, primarily guessing, most of the quotes are pretty outrageous.

How can we verify the Hitler quotes?
One of the quotes attributed to Hitler referenced attacks on the US and how it was liberals who instigated( or something to that affect.)
Was the term liberal ever used in the late 30's because I didn't think so.
I could be wrong.

Copy and paste any phrase (e.g., "but because they had been morally blind") to Google, put quotation marks around it and do a search. I did that with a few of them, and they turned up other links to Coulter or Hitler. Liberal is an old term, but it has different meanings in different times and places.

I think your right (I said "think" Libs) I'm OLD and I don't remember "Liberal" being used until the Whacko Sixties Crowd came out of the woodwork.

Back in the forties and fifties the people they call Liberals today we just used call them "Nuts". Some of them were jumping off roofs, they thought they could fly (LSD) they used to eat flowers and have Orgies, but I can't remember calling them Liberals.

To be fair, Harry, I did google liberal and ww2 and got this among others..

Apparantly it was a term for a political Party in England as far back as 1906.
They pushed for free lunches for poor kids and other programs that Liberals of today push for.
I guess it's not a big jump to assume that this party also was in Germany and other European countries.
