And he's running for congress too. I just look at these congressmen and shake my head - and Berg makes them look good.

Again, he didn't lose one fighting in the war. He lost one who was in search of mega money that was being paid for independent contractors.

That makes it so much easier to watch your own flesh and blood get beheaded.

I'm just saying that NEM is trying to politicize this into an anti Bush thing when the younger Berg chose to go over. It's a totally different situation.

That's an indirect blame to Bush. It's like blaming you if your son died in a plane crash while going to visit you.

Here is the link to CNN and the Berg interview, I suspect that Savage editorialized part of it. I tend to be more of a pacificist than most and cannot say I disagree with his premise.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/...iew/index.html

MICHAEL BERG: Well, my reaction is I'm sorry whenever any human being dies. Zarqawi is a human being. He has a family who are reacting just as my family reacted when Nick was killed, and I feel bad for that. (Watch Berg compare Zarqawi to President Bush -- 1:44)

I feel doubly bad, though, because Zarqawi is also a political figure, and his death will re-ignite yet another wave of revenge, and revenge is something that I do not follow, that I do want ask for, that I do not wish for against anybody. And it can't end the cycle. As long as people use violence to combat violence, we will always have violence....

BERG: Well, you know, I'm not saying Saddam Hussein was a good man, but he's no worse than George Bush. Saddam Hussein didn't pull the trigger, didn't commit the rapes. Neither did George Bush. But both men are responsible for them under their reigns of terror. (Watch

I don't buy that. Iraq did not have al Qaeda in it. Al Qaeda supposedly killed my son.

Under Saddam Hussein, no al Qaeda. Under George Bush, al Qaeda.

Under Saddam Hussein, relative stability. Under George Bush, instability.

Under Saddam Hussein, about 30,000 deaths a year. Under George Bush, about 60,000 deaths a year. I don't get it. Why is it better to have George Bush the king of Iraq rather than Saddam Hussein?

He went looney on Fox & MSNBC in the early am. Perhaps he was told what a fool he sounded like and moderated his words. Savage may have used the MSNBC or Fox stuff. Don't listen to Savage so I can't say exactly.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Actually, Zarqawi's family disowned him and his sister said, "He got what he deserved".

Berg's son was BEHEADED by the Dog Bush just killed, Zarqawi Personally took a knife and carved Nick Berg's screaming head off and this stinking bastard (Old Man Berg) is blaming Bush.

What the hell was that ass hole (Nick Berg) doing wandering around a Muslim Country all by himself anyway, are these Anti American son of a b!tches so whacked out that they think they are immune from those f-cking blood thirsty savages, did he think that if he walked around Iraq saying "I hate America" that the Savages would bring him home to dinner.

With a name like "Berg" he shouldn't even be walking by a Muslim Mosque in Baltimore let alone Iraq.

The terrorist Muslims want every "Berg" in the world dead
