Default Bob Kraft, Elton John attend Rush Limbaugh's 4th Wedding

I swear, I had to check to make sure this wasn't an Onion article. It all sounds a bit... bizarre. Although, in the interest of clarity, I should point out that while Kraft was a guest, "Sir" Elton was a paid performer.

It is also interesting to note that Limbaugh has married himself into that famous political family from Massachusetts.

Rush Limbaugh rushes to altar with fourth bride - BostonHerald.com

Sir Elton John serenaded 400 guests at the wedding reception for a reported fee of $1 million, according to a NewsCore wire story. Among other guests at the nuptials were Patriots [team stats] owner Robert Kraft and former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani .

Limbaugh and Rogers first met at a 2004 charity golf tournament. She was running it and he was a celebrity participant. Rush was in the process of finalizing his divorce from wife No. 3, Marta .

Rogers is a direct descendant of President John Adams, and her father attended the U.S. Naval Academy with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), according to NewsCore.

These comments are telling of the duplicity and hypocrisy of the Republican Party...

Congrats to Rush Limbaugh on his fourth traditional marriage - Glenn Greenwald - Salon.com

Quote:
So as Newt Gingrich does while standing next to his third wife (who, as was true for Gingrich's second wife, was previously known as his "adulterous mistress"), Rush Limbaugh will now crusade for Traditional Marriage with his fourth wife (and counting) at his side. As is so often the case, the Traditional Marriage movement is led by people who discard their wives and get new, younger replacements the way most people change underwear. That's how so many Americans sit on their sofas next to their second and third spouses, with their step-children and half-siblings surrounding them, and explain -- without any recognition of the irony -- that they're against same-sex marriage because they believe the law should only recognize Traditional Marriages. And it's how Rush Limbaugh can hide from his followers that, by demanding state recognition for his fourth "marriage," he himself believes "that traditional marriage should not have privileged status." As usual, all of the actual rules of Traditional Marriage are casually discarded when it comes to the law (all that dreary, annoying stuff about "till death do us part" and "in sickness and in health" and "for as long as we both shall live") and the only one that's maintained is the one that is easy and cost-free for most Traditional Marriage proponents people to fulfill (the one about needing "a man and a woman").

Don't just about all married people take those vows? Aren't they usually spoken in public? Aren't each and everyone of those people they saying they believe in those family values? How are they any different than Rush? Did they have their fingers crossed behind their backs? Clever way hypocrites try and separate themselves and that includes Rush.

Marriage vows are becoming meaningless.

Just another way Hollywood and the media are wrecking America.
Oh look, [insert celebrity here] is marrying [insert most recent co-star] at this fabulous ceremony!

3 weeks later...

[insert same celebrity name] is seen kanoodling with his/her new crush just days after his/her divorce with [last co-star].

By the time they reach 25 a celebrity can be on marriage #5 and everyone is just so excited to see the wedding pictures in the tabloids that everyone fails to realize that this is teaching our kids that marriage is just a fashion statement and not a life-long commitment to another person you love.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to and you get divorced, it happens. But when it happens 3 times and you jump in for a 4th, you're a fcking moron and marriage means nothing to you.

Who wants to be a fly on the wall when Elton and Rudy are in the same men's room at the same time?

Wow. Looks like my own personal little stalker is obsessed with Limbaugh almost as much as he's obsessed with me!
