So the whole idea that ships in international waters are free to travel without a bunch of commandos dropping in on them only applies if they aren't Muslims?
What if there was a US Navy ship at that exact same location tomorrow and the Israelis decided to "inspect" them? Should our sailors surrender and permit someone else to point a gun at them?

History has shown you to be wrong. Israel has tried negotiations, compromises, and surrendering of land. Sometimes they bought a temporary peace - but it was only temporary.
What you need to realize is that the Palestinians (and their supporters) will never rest and never be happy until the entire state of Israel is wiped clean off the face of the planet. These people are zealots; they have no desire or will to compromise.
I also understand and know that Israel has been very restrictive and heavy handed with the way they have handled this situation and often are their own worse enemies...
In reality blockades do little except effect those considered collateral damage (women and children)...
Even the great hope of the right, Ron Paul.. agrees about the how Gaza is a concentration camp and Israel starving Palestinians..

Well, ya know, when you're completely surrounded and blocked in by countries who openly profess their desire to kill you, you tend to adopt a shoot-first mentality. And I don't blame them one bit. It's easy for you to sit in the safety and security of your home and not consider what it is like - and I mean really like - to have sworn enemies on all sides.

Israel can do whatever they want to do that is in their best interest. However they need to take away their lobbyists and continue to dominate our politics in order to ensure billions continue to be sent to them, and our military continues to protect them.
I'm tired of our policy, energy, and money dedicated to trying to settle that area.

You missed the comments, surprise.. Israel has been heavy handed in its approach, and have not been all that concilatory.. violence often begets violence.. have to remember that the Palestinians pretty much possessed that land prior to the late 1940's...
You also did not understand my comments about humanitarian aid, the palestinians live in abject poverty and have little.. this does little to win the hearts and minds of people... if you deny humanitarian aid, the women and children suffer most..
If they want weapons there are a myriad of ways they can get them, not necessarily through humanitarian aid...
Ron Paul is the great hope of the right, if you do not know this you have not been paying attention.

Israel can do whatever they want to do that is in their best interest. However they need to take away their lobbyists and continue to dominate our politics in order to ensure billions continue to be sent to them, and our military continues to protect them.

Bingo.
It's not enough to want that for Israel, though. More than that, you have to approve of perpetual financial and military aid but even more importantly, political clout in the form of UN actions (or in the special case of Israel, inaction) and US "mutual defense" agreements. Anything short of that is anti-Jewish and anti-Israel.
