What kind of link is that PF13? Don't you demand at least a little tiny bit of evidence before embracing a claim you want to agree with? The statement alone that “Spain admits that the green economy sold to Obama is a ruin,” is absurd. Nations don't talk, so who are they referring to? From one I can find about Gabriel Calzada, he's simply one oil funded economist who holds a conservative viewpoint. He's not Spain. And, besides, are you really so familiar with his work that you're willing to trust whatever he says? I myself never heard of him or to the best of my knowledge read anything by or about him until now.

Not only is he an oil-funded economist with a conservative viewpoint, he's a senior fellow at the Centre for the New Europe, and was a guest at the Heartland Institute's 2009 International Conference on Climate Change, all of which received extensive funding from ExxonMobil, the world's largest oil company.

He's also a notorious liar.

OMD the evil oil companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The oil companies for the most part don't care about solar or wind, let me say that again

THE OIL COMPANIES DON"T CARE ABOUT SOLAR AND WIND POWER.

The answer is simple for anyone with a little knowledge of economics and science. See Solar and wind are geared to generate electricity (even though the electricity is much more expensive than what we pay for electricity currently. As a matter of fact oil accounts for only 1% of the electricity generated in the US.

OIL DOESN"T COMPETE with Solar or Wind. Oil is used primarily for TRANSPORTATION not generating electricity. IN this country we use Coal, Natural Gas & Nuclear to generate ~ 97% of our electricity. Those are the Energy Sources that WInd and Solar are attempting to compete with.

So if this guy has whatever association with an oil company who cares? How would that motivate him to giv bad info on Solar & Wind? His suppose 'patrons' don't care.

Although BP and others are lining up at the trough for their government grants if the stupid cap and trade is passed. Maybe even Exxon after dem Senator Jay Rockefeller is a major shareholder in Exxon/Mobil (which his great great grandfather founded) . I am sure they will get grants from cap and trade to 'invest' in wind

You really need to try and learn something and try thinking for yourself instead of parroting idiotic smears from the Morons at media matters.

There is a leaked gov meme attesting to the abject failure of their green jobs economy.

Thanks for asking.
