How much coin is this costing? Seriously, at what point does the government, do all governments, begin to acknowledge that there are serious fiscal problems facing us all, and cut back on the largesse? Seriously, wtf. People are broke, citizens are cutting back to make ends meat, and these beaurocrats are flying in chefs, and dolling themselves up, with borrowed money. I'm not singling out Obama here. I'm pointing at all governments, and politicians together. Past, and present.

If Calderon or any other foriegner wants to crash at the WH they should expect to eat hot dogs and hamburgers a pot roast at best and apple pie for desert.

My son's girlfriend flew in from Chicago last weekend. I believe it cost her $99.00 plus tax.

ROFLMAO Well, personally speaking, I certainly hope I'm never reduced to cutting back and making my ends meat.

In defense of most politicians, however, I do have to point out that most of them do not use government money or political funds to "doll themselves up." Like the rest of us who must occasionally dress up for a business affair, they buy their own clothes and accessories.

Except for that little incident with Sarah Palin and The RNC funds, of course.
