Default Capping oil spill Liability

Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.) blocked the effort, saying it would make drilling too expensive for smaller companies. National: Republican senator blocks higher liability cap on oil spills

Why is it that Most conservatives scream "FREE MARKET" and want unlimited capitalism, and unlimited profits.....but when the $#!t hits the fan, they want limits on liability?

If you are a free market capitalist, you should also have to deal with the downside to such unlimited regulation and profits.

Everybody repeat after me:

The risks are socialized.

The profits are privatized.

BTW, scream "socialist" at anybody who wants to hold you accountable.
