Default All in all, a good night for the Democrats

Specter loses to someone outside the beltway, perhaps increasing Democratic chances of holding on to the PA Senate seat in an anti-incumbent year

Democrats easily hold onto PA-12, in a district that actually voted for John McCain.

Rand Paul, who holds a number of nutty views, won in Kentucky against a Democrat Jack Conway. Conway won against Mongiardo, who probably would have been a weaker candidate because he has some corruption charges surrounding him.

Blanche Lincoln was forced into a runoff by a more liberal candidate, which may if she holds onto her seat push her to be a little more progressive. (That said, it will be hard for the Dems to hold onto this seat; early polls show Lincoln down by 15% or more.)

Also, in both Arkansas and Kentucky Democrats voted in larger numbers than Republicans.

Mid term elections are usually reactionary.. expect the Dems to loose a few, and gain a couple..

Look Patters, I'm thrilled that Sestak beat Senator Comcast also, but try to be a LITTLE accurate.

Sestak is a two term Congressman. He ain't exactly the country store clerk.

The pre-emptive spin by the left would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic. They know they are going to lose big time in November so they are doing everything they can to set as incredibly low expectations as possible, so they can claim victory when they "only lose" 30 seats or something like that.

Mark my words: The Democrats are going to lose a lot of seats this November and all of this forum's liberals are going to claim how wonderful the November results were because they managed to hold onto Congress by their fingernails.

Historically, the party holding the White House almost always loses mid-term elections.

Are you next going to use two paragraphs to proclaim that 2 + 2 = 4?

Bush didn't in 2002, did he? And there are an awful lot of signs that Obama's losses will be greater than what is historically considered average.

No, because I doubt you would be able to understand it.

Politicians:
Clyde (r) & Vinnie (d) run for president:

Results:
Clyde gets 72 Billion Votes and wins.
Vinnie says (grinning) "we'll all in all we held our own, we did better than I expected, I picked up 5 votes, 3 in San Francisco and 2 in Massachusetts, god bless you all and thank you" (still grinning)

Later that evening Vinnie's wife has sex with Vinnie's Limo Driver, Vinnie is in the bathroom looking in the mirror practicing his Left Wing Loon Grin.

ROFLMAO And Clyde celebrates his victory by cruising airport bathroom stalls and finalizing his pre-made deals with 4 oil companies and 2 pharmacutical giants.

This is truly stunning logic.

Apparently, according to Wolfpack, since he believes the Democrats will be taken to the woodshed in November, last night could not have possibly been a good night for Democrats.

I mean, who can dare refute this ironclad argument!
