Funny, I do not view a supreme court justice as someone who "has made it further than me". Hell, I don't even view the POTUS as someone who made it further than me.

If I were offered either job, I'd decline in a nano-second. I'd have to live near Washington, DC...and no one could convince me to do that!

That may be a thing that allowed her to pass the sniff test for possible nomination wooing the RINOs to vote for her.

If people are the least bit interested in discussing her as a candidate and not her looks nor another liberal vs. conservative ego fest there is one big issue that is being put to light about her that could derail her nomination among the Republicans...she has made contributions to multiple high ranking Democrats from the President, Sec. of State, Chief of Staff(when he was running for US House)...
