Default I Wonder How Sarah Feels About the Kitchen?

From a newsletter published by the RNC in Ohio:

HAD ENOUGH HOPE AND CHANGE?

GET THE PORK OUT PICNIC

LET'S TAKE BETTY SUTTON OUT OF THE HOUSE AND PUT HER BACK IN THE KITCHEN

http://emilyslist.org/images/GOP_sutton.pdf

Betty Sutton, if anyone's interested, is the incumbent in the OH-13 House race.

So, from the lack of response here and the outrage in several other places I can assume one of two things.

1} It is ok for a Republican representative to say that women belong in the kitchen but it is not ok for a radio personality to say the word "Nazi" in relation to a football player and it is not ok for a republican to crack a Jewish joke.

or

2) People here have selective outrage.

Or ... I'm watching the Bruins right now ... my outrage is directed there.

My God, Man!! How can you watch a Bruins game when someone's told a Jew joke (which ends up not really even being a Jew joke) and someone who's apparently unknown anywhere outside of Boston has made a Nazi remark????? Where are your priorities?

Pretty tame compared to what libs say about Palin and Bachmann on a daily basis including your screeds about Palin.

Show me one thing I've ever said about Palin which I did not preface with an, "in my opinion," or where I called her a name or implied she was anything evil such as a Nazi.

I make no secret of the fact that I dislike her or that I find her unintelligent or a liar or an opportunist - but I've never referred to her, or anyone else, with a racial slur, a sexist slur or any other kind of a slur. It's not something I do, 13. Not to anyone. Not here or anywhere else. I resent that you're using your moderator persona in attempting to say I do.

What a poor specimen of both man and moderator you are that you continually resort to name calling and character assassination of not just myself but any other poster whose politics you disagree with.

Does the word "transference" mean anything to you?

A mite sensitive when your hypocrisy is pointed out eh.

Whatever.

I wasn't outraged over the Nazi joke or the Jewish joke because they were clearly meant as jokes. The kitchen remark was not a joke in my book and deserves criticism.

Drudge clearly wanted to make hay over the Jewish joke but thankfully it won't get the legs. I just wish people could be admit that there is a double standard. Many Liberals selected to be outraged over the Imus remarks. Many conservatives defended him(I'm one) but many also are quiet on this kitchen thing. They should not be.

Whatever, indeed, 13. You made a statement and I'm asking you to back it up. You just asked me for proof of something I said in the Sharpton thread and I gave it to you. I'm asking for proof of something you said here and I expect the same courtesy.

There's no "hypocrisy" involved if you can't come up with something concrete to back up your accusation that I've slandered Palin with racist or sexist remarks.

I'll tell you what, you come up with a post I've made where I've compared Palin to a Nazi or made some racial or sexist comment about her and I'll apologize to you. You can't find it and you owe me the same apology.
