Default The Tea Party - The Republicans' Worst Nightmare

GOP chair rebukes tea party 'militia' - Andy Barr - POLITICO.com

“A lot of these people don’t care about being the majority, they just want a megaphone. They want a voice,” the state GOP chairman said. “Once they get a reporter to cover a story they have a megaphone, and they get pretty loud.”

Jones insisted that Oklahoma Republicans will not follow this “small faction within the party.”

Yeah the political class hates having their power threathened. THey will have to adapt or die.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

What are you saying is the "nightmare"... the forming of the milita itself and potential bad press or the GOP Chairman vs the GOP legislators & tea party?

If anyone wants to be really famous all they need to do is be at the Boston rally tomorrow and video tape themselves shouting racial epithets. Then post it on You Tube. They'll get national wall to wall MSM coverage, the blogosphere will be lit up with it, forums will gleefully link to it, Rachel Madcow will do a week on it and they'll be on the front page, above the fold, of Thursday's Boston Globe. Voila instant fame.

He is saying it is a "nightmare" because he really really wants it to be true, and he is hoping that if he says it enough times, then somehow magically it will come to pass. It just self-delusion, pay no mind.
