Why the News is so untrustworthy.... Breitbart did it
Interesting how this whole O'Keefe/Breitbart/ACORN situation has evolved...
There are some irregularities with ACORN and they should be dealt with, perhaps in the same way we deal with defense contractor fraud... i.e give them more money..
California has just cleared them of wrongdoing, and have released the videos/audio's of this great escapade...
Normally find Alex Jones a tad over the edge, but he seems to be more on point in this situation..
What are revealing is the raw footage, pay attention to Los Angeles #2... very interesting how the Acorn Rep again and again, tells O'Keefe that ACORN does not do mortgages, just shows them how to apply and what banks are looking for.. O'Keefe keeps coming back and tries to entrap him, the guy stands his ground explaining his role.. is this the new standard for journalism, severe editing???
Also note how the girl is dressed, and how photoshopping can be a friend... you will not find this on Fox News, CNN or any of the major networks.. as a prize O'Keefe is a featured speaker on the Republican "atta boy network"..
The BRAD BLOG : CA A.G. FINDS 'NO VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL LAW' IN 'SEVERELY EDITED' ACORN 'PIMP' VIDEOS; RELEASES RAW TAPES FOR FIRST TIME
Quote:
ACORN had received an average of just $3.5 million in federal tax dollars over each of the last 15 years. Moreover, there is no evidence that any vote was ever cast illegally, in any election, following an improper registration by an ACORN worker. In most cases, such improper registrations were discovered by ACORN themselves and reported to authorities.
Nonetheless, the anti-poverty organization of 400,000 low- and middle-income member families in 75 cities was successfully targeted and put out of business by Republicans; the long, concerted smear campaigns intended to do little more than undercut ACORN's successful voter registration drives. Those drives had succeeded in legally registering hundreds of thousands of low- and middle-income voters, many of whom tend to vote Democratic. For that, for enfranchising Americans to participate in their own democracy, the GOP had to put them out of business
