Wow.

Usually I'd say screw it congressmen don't know every issue, usually they're heavily briefed by the staff... in this case all I can hope is that this hearing was on April 1, and they exercised horrendous judgment by picking up some rando from outside the capital and gave him the congressman's credentials as a joke. The fact of the purposeful security breach on the part of the congressman and the lapse on the part of capital security, as well as the mockery of the process, would be preferable to the idea that this guy believes too many people on an island will "tip it over."

Screw it, if the Dems have to lose seats in November, this is a good one to start with. Give me the corrupt motherfrockers that have two brain-cells to rub together any day...

We should all mortified by this, and the fact that this guy is a sitting LAWMAKER, however.... you can't help giggle. I particularly like the hand gestures and leaning as he's talking about the island capsizing.
