Default Sarkozy sums up the global perception of US Healthcare

French President Nicolas Sarkozy spoke to students and faculty at Columbia University:

“Welcome to the club of states who don’t turn their back on the sick and the poor,” Sarkozy said, referring to the US health care overhaul signed by President Barack Obama last week.

From the European perspective, he said, “when we look at the American debate on reforming health care, it’s difficult to believe”. [...]

Then to hearty applause, he added: “If you come to France and something happens to you, you won’t be asked for your credit card before you’re rushed to the hospital.”

Think Progress Sarkozy lauds the U.S.: ‘Welcome to the club of states who don’t turn their back on the sick and the poor.’

Some say they have evolved and realize the folly of such.. after they were invaded twice in the first half of the century, decided that peace was a better alternative..

What was the vote for going to war?? 23 Senators against, 133 House members

What is the vote for Obamacare 47 Senators against, 215 House members against.......

If you love France, so much, I sugguest you take a trip there, I guarentee, that you will be crying to get on the first thing smoking to get back here.....No jobs, ripe with racial tensions, and muslims rioting in the streets....

Every country has issues, but some do not lie about pretenses that lead a country to never ending wars.. and a subsequent financial mess..

It is what it is, no defense of France, except they stay out of wars... for that they deserve praise..
