Default How the news in interpreted left vs. right....

Came across several threads today about how the "Press Conference" of 21 March is interpreted by what side of the aisle you sit on..from Rush Limbaugh's side he interprets it as:

"Bush Sparkles in ideological Performance"..."A manly ideological performance, by the president combatting drive by media."
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/dai...ape.guest.html

I am sure there are many Bush apologists who believe that this was a great press conference, however most of the rest of the world heard something different, that we will continue to be in Iraq past 2008 and there are no plans to withdraw the troops. The continuing innuendo that Al Quaeda was in Iraq. No need to post these links as they are all over the blogs and press...here is the link to the press conference, the great educator is a dunce and the great uniter has divided us to the point that there is no hope of ever reconciling during this administration...thank goodness for Helen Thomas at least she has the heart to ask the right questions..

Liberals and most all of the mainstream media are having a very hard time coming to grips with the fact that the American people are now hearing "The Whole Story" and not just The NY Times Version.

They are also very upset and mortified that there are now other "News Outlets" and other "News Journalists" that would DARE to stand up to them and tell America all the things that the Elite Media never wanted us to hear.

America is now getting TWO SIDES to a story and the "Left Wing Media" can't stand it, all you have to do is watch them at a news conference, they are "Going Nuts".

Internet, Talk Radio, Fox News, Cable TV, and Bloggers have screwed up their little world of only telling you what they wanted you to know and it is driving them Insane.

CBS-NBC-ABC-PBS Evening News Brainwashing is a thing of the past, Good Riddance.

You obviously did not read the press conference, looks as though you trusted Rush again, no one interpreted what he said, his responses speak for himself.

No I didn't read it, I am just speaking of news in general and what has been going on for the last few years. America now has views from other news sources and it is driving the Left leaning liberal democrats in the mainstream media crazy, they are losing control and they are beginning to Panic, a good example of that was David Gregory on Cheney's hunting trip and Helen Thomas at the recent Presidential News Conference, they can no longer have "Their Own Way" and they are starting to "stamp their little feet" PANIC.

At this point, I think the left is getting a sort of perverse pleasure at what is going on (somewhat similar to what Republicans felt during the Carter era). Everything that liberals predicted was right: we are losing our liberties, the Iraq war is a disaster, the federal deficit is mushrooming, Bush's poll ratings are stuck in the basement, the Republicans are turning against each other, and the United States has lost its international prestige. While those things are terrible, we hope the Democrats can convert the long list of Republican failures into electoral gains and reverse the damage that Bush has done. That said, the Democrats are hardly an impressive lot, and I wouldn't put it past them to fail to capitalize on Bush's ineptitude.

The good news is that Bush is pretty much lame duck, even though he still has three years left.

Remember what Ann Richards the EX Governor of Texas said after Bush beat her, "Don't ever underestimate little George Bush"

The news media is changing in America, we no longer have to come home from work and listen to Rather, Brokaw & Jennings feed us their Left Wing selected news. We now have the Internet and Cable.

Dan Rather will never forget the "Bloggers"

Harry, Bush is a good politician (largely thanks to Rove), but incompetent president. If that's what you want, then he's you're man.
