Default Interactive Quiz: How Progressive Are You?

Yeah another quiz ... back to school guys ... and Mrs. PFnVA.

Interactive Quiz: How Progressive Are You?

I received a 196/400 and they labeled me a conservative ... Average American is 209.5 so I'm close.
I thought I would come out more moderate than that ... but it's what it's.

I came in at 337/400, making me "extremely progressive."

166/400 Conservative. I don't think any of us are going to be shocked at our scores or classification......

I know exactly where I'll be without even taking the test.

I just feel like making the point that Progressive does not equal Liberal. They're two different things, there can be progressives inside the Republicans and Democrats. I know no-one here said otherwise but it seems like the trend to eliminate the word Liberal and repalce it with Progressive.

"Social progressivism, which states that governmental practices ought to be adjusted as society evolves, forms the ideological basis for many American progressives."

Being a Progressive is really the opposite of being a Constitutionalist, as you can see from the quote above. Yes - the VAST majority of Progressives are Democrats or Liberals but you can be a Republican and not be a Constitutionalist which makes you a Progressive too, what you want to "Progress" to would just be far different than most Progressives.

Think about it, "Progress" means different things to different people so it makes no sense for Progressivism to be exclusive to one party. Same with Conservatism, in fact.

I hate these tests. They have too many loaded questions that may evoke innacurate responses. I don't like the response scale, either. And besides, I might come out conservative and someone else may have the exact same score but for completely different reasons depending on how he voted on each particular question. It's like sorting jelly beans.

I agree that some of the questions are loaded. I scored 146, which is labeled as "very conservative." I always find them to be kinda fun though.
