Since the 70s they dont count underemployed, part time employees who wish to be full time...etc, etc...

Obama isn't covering anything up.

This has been SOP when reporting unemployment numbers for a long time now. It's hardly the most accurate or honest way to present them, but let's not pretend that Obama coined this system.

I think it was Nixon who first started change the way the government collects data in order to cover up the truth. Reagan advanced it further by changing other statistics. But, yes, you are right unemployment is much higher than 10%, as it was under the Presidents who preceded Obama.
